"V-2 Schneider" was a song by David Bowie.
In 2017, Harry found a vinyl single featuring the song among the possessions of previous tenants who had lived at 11 Cardinal Road in 1977. The song was on the B-side, while the song "Heroes" was on the A-side. (TV: Knock Knock)
Behind the scenes
- The cover of "Heroes" and "V-2 Schneider" was referenced by Titan's Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor comic series, on Cover C of issue 12DY2 3 which was designed by Simon Myers.
- The song was a tribute by Bowie to Florian Schneider of the German band Kraftwerk. The name also references the V2 rocket developed by Germany during World War II.
