References
- Jo Martin and Peter Capaldi quote the Doctor's vow; "never be cruel, or cowardly, never give up, and never give in".
Notes
- All but two of the living actors to have played the Doctor for a significant amount of time on screen took part. Christopher Eccleston (Ninth Doctor) and David Bradley (First Doctor in Twice Upon a Time) are the only two who are absent.
- Eccleston previously recorded his own tribute to the NHS a week prior for BBC Radio 5.[1] Eccleston later clarified his lack of participation on his official Instagram account, reiterating his belief that something as essential to human life and well-being as the NHS should never be in a position of requiring charity funding in the first place, and blaming the current Tory government for this outcome to austerity practices.[2][3]
