Saturn Probe was a series of short stories and prose features published weekly in TV Century 21 across some of 1969, specifically from 8 February to 5 July.

The series documented the progression of a manned mission to Saturn and, eventually, the establishment of a colony named Shindigville. Set in TV21's shared universe of the 2060s, Saturn Probe and was by extension a part of the expanded Doctor Who universe.

Crossover[[edit] | [edit source]]

Despite the series taking the headline article in one of TV21's cover stories and another of its instalments crossing over with fellow 2060s-based series Fireball XL5 through the mention of Space City and the World Space Patrol, only one Saturn Probe ultimately contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. This was a short story titled Oil Drill Shipped to Crater! [+]Loading...["Oil Drill Shipped to Crater! (short story)"], which mentioned Unity City, the capital of the World Government first introduced in The Daleks comic strip.
