Smoked klim-bait was a local delicacy on Runn.
The Fourth Doctor's letter for the second issue of Doctor Who Weekly was sent via Beam-A-Zeat in the same container as a batch of smoked klim-bait. He apologised if this caused the letter to smell but suggested that the recipient might like to grill the klim-bait with a piece of toast if they had the recipe from the revised edition of Intergalactic Cookbook for Beginners handy.
