Algorithm 89-C-∆ was one of Box's data-children, created by Box when she was first connected to the human Internet in 2019 alongside many "siblings". Tasked with developing a way to save P.R.O.B.E. from the Greth in a few seconds' real time, which, thanks to processing speed, could be experienced by many years of time to the digital intelligences, 89-C-∆ eventually returned to her with a plan. Box agreed to implement this plan, but also those of several of 89-C-∆'s sisters, including 28-X-B and 67-T-W. (PROSE: Out of the Box [+]Loading...["Out of the Box (short story)"])
