During the "Late Expansion Era", Ultima Tarsus hosted an energy collection facility, receiving the energy collected from Poseidon space station. The CyberNomads sought to invade the planet, hoping to use Poseidon as a beachhead, only to fall victim to a rogue Type 1 TARDIS' manipulation of white energy from the Void. Having been on Poseidon at the time, the Tenth Doctor evacuated the crew to Ultima Tarsus via hyperspace corridor, telling them to warn their fellow colonists of the Cybermen.
