Jimmy Hill was a presenter for Match of the Day.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Jimmy Hill presented Match of the Day during the 20th century, commentating on football matches. One such match he discussed was between Aston Villa and Birmingham. (TV: Match of the Who [+]Loading...["Match of the Who (TV story)"])

When the Master was confined on Earth, he watched Hill presenting Match of the Day. He preferred watching Hill over repeats of Hector's House and The Clangers, and his "earnestness" amused the Master. (PROSE: Anger Management [+]Loading...["Anger Management (short story)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

As well as being a presenter for Match of the Day, Jimmy Hill was also a former footballer. However, no DWU mentions this part of his career.
