Biography
Early life
When Damon was taken from his family at the age of eight to look into the Untempered Schism, he was inspired by what he saw. (PROSE: A Brief History of Time Lords [+]Loading...["A Brief History of Time Lords (novel)"]) He befriended the Doctor (TV: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (TV story)"]) and became a specialist computer technician, working under Talor in the Capitol computer room. He also became acquainted with Leela, whom he believed was very happy on Gallifrey. (TV: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (TV story)"])
Omega's return
After a biodata extract was unlawfully transmitted, Damon identified it as that of the Doctor and left the matter with Talor, who was soon murdered by Hedin. (TV: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (TV story)"]) Damon subsequently had to take on Talor's responsibilities in addition to his own. (PROSE: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (novelisation)"]) He recalled the TARDIS to Gallifrey on Maxil's orders, but he released the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa from the security compound and slipped the Doctor's biodata extract to him before his arrest.
Damon helped the Doctor by reassembling the space-time element after Maxil had removed it from his TARDIS and discovered that a fusion booster element was transported to Earth using Borusa's codes. Following Hedin's exposure, Borusa ordered Damon to fetch a pulse loop to distract Omega whilst the Doctor travelled to Earth to confront him. He later announced Omega's apparent destruction. Appearance
Damon was a good-looking young man (PROSE: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (novelisation)"]) with dark hair. He wore brown robes and a wrist-communicator. (TV: Arc of Infinity [+]Loading...["Arc of Infinity (TV story)"])
Behind the scenes
According to the parodic Dalek: Spoof Scenes [+]Loading...["Dalek: Spoof Scenes (short story)"], in a version of events where the Last Great Time War was fought against the Drashigs rather than the Daleks, the Ninth Doctor cited Damon as one of the people who had perished in the War, alongside Drax, Spandrell and the Meddling Monk.
