The following details are derived from a secondary source and may have not progressed in the order in which detailed below.

In his TARDIS, the Doctor arrived in Albert Einstein's study. Einstein quickly warmed to his visitor when he began asking how the timeship worked; in particular, the Doctor impressed Einstein with his understanding that time was a dimension unto itself.

They then discussed how a constant speed of light influenced an individual's perception of time and space, using a potted plant, a torch, a railway carriage and help from H. G. Wells to visualise things. They also discussed twin and grandfather paradoxes,
