History[[edit] | [edit source]]

A Doctor Who-themed Prom was once held in the Royal Albert Hall. A Dalek interrupted the performance on the basis that the Doctor was an enemy of the Daleks, threatening to exterminate the musicians unless they left the Hall for a period of fifteen minutes. However, it never actually exterminated anyone, and the unconcerned conductor assured the audience that they could simply treat this as a normal intermission.
