Dalek (Untitled Doctor Who at the Proms 2024 audio story 1)
A Dalek once interrupted a "Doctor Who Prom" being performed at the Royal Albert Hall by an orchestra and choir. Declaring that the Doctor was "the enemy of the Daleks", it ordered the conductor to step down and for all the music to stop for 15 minutes, for the duration of which the Dalek ordered the audience to simply keep standing there in uncomfortable silence. The conductor, however, told them before leaving that they should ignore the "baked-bean tin bully" and simply treat this as a normal intermission. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
In the live performance of the skit, this Dalek, voiced as always by Nicholas Briggs, was depicted as a Bronze Dalek. However, at this time, only the radio-broadcast audio version of the skit is taken into consideration by the Wiki, as no official release of the live footage has yet arisen.
