Michael Sanders
Colonel Michael Sanders OBE was a British intelligence officer and private military contractor.
Biography
Sanders was born on 21 December 1934. He was educated in Westminster and would later join the Home Guard.
Through the 1960s, he was responsible for running Britain's clandestine operations, mainly in Yemen.
In 1965, he was appointed OBE for his services. Through secret radio communications, Sanders, along with Jack Harkness, Andrew Staines, and Ellen Hunt, agreed to deliver to the 456 twelve young orphans as a "gift" at a meeting point in Scotland. In exchange for the children, the unseen aliens gave them a cure for a new strain of an Indonesian influenza that the aliens claimed would mutate and kill twenty-five million people without it.
