Terror of the Zygons was the sixth adventure in The Fourth Doctor Sourcebook, adapted from the TV story of the same name.

Summary

The plot follows the television story, with variance depending on how it is played. Gamemasters can decide how much Broton's plan makes sense, and whether or not he's in over his head.

Further Adventures

In the first scenario, adventurers may get involved in the construction of the [[Caledonian Channell] in the late 18th century when the Zygons send out a Skarasen to defend their hideout.

In the second scenario, the adventurers may discover a link between the Flesh and Zygon technology, with both taking body prints from their subjects. The Flesh might have been salvaged from a Zygon ship or its creators may be Zygons.

In the third scenario, the adventurers may encounter another planet where the Zygons successfully took over a society.

Continuity

  • The Zygons are suggested to be the same species as the Chameleons from TV: The Faceless Ones [+]Loading...["The Faceless Ones (TV story)"], with the explosion on the Chameleon homeworld being the same event as the destruction of the Zygon homeworld. Chameleons are thus a damaged form of Zygon, having lost their true forms in the explosion.
