The Timeline Error Incident (PROSE: TARDIS Type 40 Instruction Manual [+]Loading...["TARDIS Type 40 Instruction Manual (reference book)"]) was the Time Lords' designation for the event in which the Twelfth Doctor and the First Doctor met at the South Pole just prior to their respective regenerations. Aftermath[[edit] | [edit source]]

Published by the Time Lords, the TARDIS Type 40 Instruction Manual covered the Timeline Error Incident, making note of the Testimony's role in the event. Whilst recognising the legal and temporal ramifications of the Testimony's actions, the Time Lords acknowledged that they had created a significant resource and so the High Council of Time Lords considered entering negotiations with the Testimony in order to merge their information with the memory banks of the Matrix. Index File information relating to the Testimony was barred pending a decision on official Gallifreyan policy. The Time Lords also became aware of the Twelfth Doctor's regeneration into the Thirteenth Doctor, (PROSE: TARDIS Type 40 Instruction Manual [+]Loading...["TARDIS Type 40 Instruction Manual (reference book)"]) who would eventually return to Gallifrey, only to find it razed by the Spy Master, the other Time Lords having been killed.
