TARDIS Type 40 Instruction Manual was a reference book by Richard Atkinson and Mike Tucker that explored Type 40 TARDISes. The book was written from an in-universe perspective, presenting itself as an instruction manual created by the Time Lord Academy, detailing certain points in the history of the Doctor's TARDIS to explain various components and aspects of the machine, and of TARDISes in general.
