In 2066, the Thunderfour Mach 56 rocket explored the Mexican Hat Galaxy, with twelve scientists, twelve geologists, and nine billion dollars' worth of special equipment aboard, with the objective to learn about the galaxy, experimenting on rocks in the hope of discovering new metals and gasses, in a journey which was expected to take twenty-five years to complete. This was hoped to give some explanation of recent radio messages received from the galaxy at Space City. (PROSE: Beatty Trial Sensation [+]Loading...["Beatty Trial Sensation (short story)"])

On January 18 2067, an issue of Universal News reported that deep probe cameras on the rocket had recorded a new planet in the galaxy, having previously remained undetected as its orbit was behind another planet on parallel course. The newly-discovered planet was given the name "Honvarallan", after two senior scientists aboard the Thunderfour explorer. (PROSE: 20th Century Bomber Stolen!
