Story notes
- Although clearly named after Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright, and Susan Foreman, the player characters Ian, Barbara, and Susan have different physical appearances and do not travel with the Doctor. Ian and Barbara have the same features as Jeff Stone and Mary Stone from The Dalek Book.
- The game has a similar name to Dodge the Dalek [+]Loading...["Dodge the Dalek (game)"], from The Dalek Book. Where in this game the players aim to reach the Secret City, in the earlier Dodge the Dalek game players sought Treasure City.
- Cowan, de Groot's rights to producing this board game prevented Dr Who's Space Adventure Book from including the Daleks in the Space Raiders Battle Game.[2]
Continuity
- Many elements of the players' journey resemble the plot of TV: The Dalek Invasion of Earth [+]Loading...["The Dalek Invasion of Earth (TV story)"].
- A hoverskeet appears, as seen in COMIC: Invasion of the Daleks [+]Loading...["Invasion of the Daleks (comic story)"].
