May Warden (9 May 1891-5 October 1978[1]) had an uncredited role as the aged Sara Kingdom in the Doctor Who television story The Daleks' Master Plan. (DWM 272)

She is one of the earliest born individuals to have appeared in Doctor Who, behind only Lionel Gadsden, Eleanor Dalling, Bert Sims, Jack Bligh and Bart Allison.

Career[[edit] | [edit source]]

Warden is best known for her role in the two-hander comedy sketch Dinner for One, the broadcast of which is a New Year’s Eve tradition in a number of European countries.[2] Her other television appearances included Z-Cars, Dixon of Dock Green, Dr. Finlay's Casebook, Dad's Army and Billy Liar.
