TS was a resident of the English village of Leadworth. (PROSE: Alabama's Blue Box [+]Loading...["Alabama's Blue Box (short story)"]) During the tenure of Leadworth residents Amy Pond and Rory Williams as companions of the Eleventh Doctor (TV: The Vampires of Venice [+]Loading...["The Vampires of Venice (TV story)"], et al.), TS along with the rest of the village became accustomed to the constant appearances and disappearances of the Doctor's TARDIS, which became known to the villagers as the "Leadworth Locker". TS saw the blue box on the village green, by the church, and upside-down in the bouncy castle at the Summer Fair. (PROSE: Alabama's Blue Box [+]Loading...["Alabama's Blue Box (short story)"])

Eventually, Amy and Rory moved to London (TV: The God Complex [+]Loading...["The God Complex (TV story)"]), and the TARDIS stopped appearing, which made TS "quite sad". Years of absence later, TS saw the box again in February 2020, near the post office. A fair-haired woman was stepping inside, but paused to smile at TS, advising them to stock up on handwash. TS was astonished at the subsequent sight of the TARDIS dematerialising. They later came to realise the significance of the woman's advice.

In early 2021, TS read an article on the Into The Unknown blog about mysterious appearances of out-of-place police boxes. Astounded at how widespread the mystery truly was, TS posted a comment recounting the history of the "Leadworth Locker", but declined to describe the TARDIS's dematerialisation, fearing blog proprietor Maxwell Grey would not believe the story. TS also thanked Grey for continuing the work of the blog's founder, Sam Ferrian. (PROSE: Alabama's Blue Box [+]Loading...["Alabama's Blue Box (short story)"])
