Parkinson was a show upon which actor Peter Sellers was interviewed in 1974. During the interview, Sellers discussed the cancelled sequel to The Ladykillers he had worked on in 1957, revealing a story about director Alexander Mackendrick and actor Alec Guinness being approached by a man who told them "mumbo jumbo" about "killer statues" being behind the film's numerous production difficulties.
