The Ladykillers was a 1955 film produced by Ealing Studios, which was later considered a classic. It involved a character named Mrs Wilberforce who was, by the end, inadvertently gifted money. In 1957, Ealing Studios announced a planned sequel, but the project was scrapped after numerous troubles at Wester Drumlins, the mansion chosen for location filming.
