In an alternative timeline, Arcalia was a Vampire who served Lord Prydon. He was Prydon's Prime Enforcer, conducting military operations on his behalf. Arcalia, like the other Gallifreyan Vampires, was one of Prydon’s honorary children. He introduced himself as Prydon's "favoured son". Lord Prydon sent Arcalia on a mission to capture Lady Borusa and retrieve a piece of the Great Key her soldiers had stolen. Arcalia and his strike team successfully ambushed the True Lord camp, but he mistook Romana II for Borusa and returned to Prydon with the wrong captive.
