In 2008, Character Options began releasing action figures of characters from the classic Doctor Who series.
The initial assortment contained three former incarnations of the doctor and a number of creatures and robots with a focus on the Fourth Doctor era. Another feature of this line was the inclusion of parts of a build a figure in each toy (namely the K1 Robot and an early Cyber Controller).
A second wave of 6 figures was released in 2010 but without a Build-it component with each figure priced £9.99 (UK).
