Collin was working for a music company in the late 1980s when he first met the Doctor and Nyssa who where on the trail for a Music recorder that held the power to release The Voice onto the Earth Collin then joined forces with the Doctor and Nyssa after discovering the recorder was in fact his own.
After this adventure Collin was given a new view of life thanks to what he had seen with the Doctor (ST: Tweaker)
