University of Oxford

The University of Oxford, also known as Oxford University or simply Oxford for short, was a University located in the English town of the same name. It shares a similar reputation for academic excellence to the slightly-younger University of Cambridge.

Students

• Oscar Wilde read Classics there (at Magdalen) in the late 19th century. (EDA: The Scarlet Empress)

• In 1993, Tom Cheynor attended school there and studied under Professor Rafferty. (NA: The Dimension Riders)
• Luke Smith got his A Levels a year ahead of schedule and left to study at Oxford in September 2010, bringing K9 Mark IV with him. (SJA: The Nightmare Man) Luke left K9 at Oxford during a visit home; he noted to Mr Smith that K9 found the company at Oxford stimulating. • In 1911, Marcus Scarman was a fellow and professor of Archaeology at All Souls College. (DW: Pyramids of Mars)
