The Siren could use anything that had a refelction as a portal to pass from on universe to the next, she could also use fire to decomptaminate things such as tissues. (DW : The Curse of the Black Spot )
History
The Siren was a Doctor, who worked on a ship that landed on The Fancy , the crew where all wiped out by a ilness leaving her with no pateints on the ship. She then took tissue samples of sailors, leaving a black spot so she could then return and take the sailor to the sick bay to care for them. The Doctor , Amy and Captain Avery where all taken by The Siren on purpose to see where they were taken. When they found Rory and the crew, Amy gave them consent to take Rory away and The Fancy's crew then left in the ship allowing The Siren to care for them. (DW : The Curse of the Black Spot )
