Barbara Wright novel reference
I removed the reference added to the lead that the film was based upon Barbara Wright's novel. First off, this is based upon information contained in the non-canonical, non-licensed work I Am the Doctor: The Unauthorised Diaries of a Timelord and therefore can't be used in such a fashion. Second, this is a Real World article (as are all articles based upon TV and film productions) so there was a mixing of universes. Thirdly, the John Peel book says only that Barbara supposedly wrote "Dr. Who and the Daleks" and says nothing about the second film. If a Big Finish audio or a licenced novel or a comic strip ever makes this claim, then it can be put back -- but in a Trivia section, not the factual section. 23skidoo 18:23, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
- Surely, you could somehow fit it in the article and ensure that it's obviously a rumour or a possibility because as far as I and many other fans are concerned, it's important to know that this is not canon in the Whoniverse as some new Who fans may find this a bit confusing after having seen it.
