Esther Drummond was a CIA agent in the 21st century.
Biography
After witnessing the Torchwood virus removed data from the CIA database, Esther decided to investigate on her own on the Torchwood Case, despite it had been closed. Therefore, she found information about the Torchwood Institute , Captain Jack Harkness, and Gwen Cooper , precisely when Jack Harkness found her, saving her from an attempt. Jack Harkness then gave her all the information she wanted but deleted her memory afterwards. (TW : The New World)
