- Each issue came with a DVD release covering two episodes.
- Reversible DVD sleeves enabled the collector to display one of two designs featuring either the Doctor and his enemies or his companions.

- There were at least sixteen Cybershades on the loose in London!
- The Daleks were the very first monster to appear in Doctor Who.
- Two working titles for 'The Girl in the Fireplace' were 'Every Tick of My Heart' and 'Reinette and the Lonely Angel'.
- David Troughton's (Professor Hobbes) father was Patrick Troughton, who played the Second Doctor.
