Biography

Donna Noble is the daughter of Geoff Noble and Sylvia Noble. On her first day at school, she was sent home for biting.

Donna missed the Sycorax invasion due to a hangover, and missed the Cybermen invasion because she was on holiday in Spain. Because of this, she was unprepared for the possibility of the existence of alien life when she first encountered it.

In 2007, Donna began working as a temporary secretary at H.C. Clements, a security firm. There she met and fell in love with Lance Bennett, whom she eventually got to propose to her. While she planned the wedding, she was unaware that Lance was dosing her coffee with with huon particles on the orders of the Empress of the Racnoss.

On 24th December 2007, Donna was was walking down the aisle to marry Lance when she was abruptly teleported to the Doctor's TARDIS. The Doctor took her back to London, where she tried to catch a taxi but couldn't because the drivers thought she was drunk. While the Doctor went to get cash, Donna was picked up by a taxi driven by a Robot Santa who trapped her in the back. The Doctor rescued her by flying the TARDIS, opening the doors and persuading her to jump despite her being scared. Donna then asked the Doctor if she could go to the reception of her own wedding.

At the reception, Robot Santas came and searched for her, then a Robotic Christmas Tree began firing explosives at people. After the Doctor saved everyone, he, Donna and Lance decided to investigate H.C. Clements, where they learned that Lance was helping the Empress of the Racnoss in her plans to conquer Earth. Donna assisted the Doctor in defeating the Empress, but turned down his offer to travel with him. (DW: The Runaway Bride). Donna's eyes had been opened to the universe by this event and she told the Doctor she beolived it all now. She was trying to find out just what was going on in Adipose Industries when she again bumped into the Doctor who had been doing sililar investigating. Donna's freind Stacey Harris was killed on the Adipose diet, Donna tried but could not stop her death. (DW: Partners in Crime). Donna asked the Doctor if he could save the citezens of Pompeii from the Volcano, the Doctor told Donna this would break the laws of Time. (DW: The Fires of Pompeii). On Ood Sphere, Donna was disgusted at the appearence of the Ood but respected that they did not deserve to be put into slavery. She was for some time placed in a prison cell. (DW: Planet of the Ood). Donna met Martha Jones and is outraged that the Doctor has not just traveled with her as she belived she was special. (DW: The Sontaran Strategem). Rose Tyler came to Donna iin a dream warning her that the paralell world was splintering and that she should tell the Doctor. (DW Turn Left).

Personality

Donna was rude, bossy, and boisterous. She constantly insulted the Doctor, especially after learning that he was an alien. But she truly did love Lance, and was absolutely heartbroken and in tears when she learnt he was using her. A trailer for Series 4 shows Donna talking to Wilfred Mott, her grandfather, about how she met the right man once and let him get away, suggesting she loves the Doctor.
