Albion Hospital as it appeared in 1941 (DW: The Empty Child)

Albion Hospital was located near the Limehouse Green railway station in London during the 20th and 21st centuries.

History

20th century

In 1941 the hospital was where the Child's plague started, a disease that turned its victims into gas-masked zombies. (DW: The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances)

21st century

In 2005, Albion Hospital was also the site in which many victims of the wave of bombings which struck London around this same time were treated. (BFU: The Longest Night)

In 2006, the military evacuated its patients and used the hospital to house and examine an apparent alien corpse retrieved from a spaceship that had crashed in the River Thames. The hospital appeared to have been selected because it was near the river itself. (DW: Aliens of London)
