A Drone Dalek appeared alongside a Supreme Dalek and the Eternal Dalek among other representatives of the Pandorica Alliance within the Underhenge in 102, witnessing the imprisonment of the Eleventh Doctor, whom they believed to be the one responsible for the cracks in space and time, inside the Pandorica. The Alliance was destroyed when the Doctor's TARDIS exploded, leaving only two Stone Daleks, one of which hindered the Doctor and his companions' efforts to save the universe in 1996. Nevertheless, the Doctor later rebooted the universe, restoring the Alliance to their original places in space and time. (TV: The Big Bang)

- The Drone Dalek in The Pandorica Opens was depicted using the same prop which was originally constructed for the Drone Dalek in Victory of the Daleks.[1]
- Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe established that the original Red Drone from Victory of the Daleks, despite its appearance, held a senior role in the hierarchy of the New Dalek Paradigm, joining the original members of the New Paradigm in a new Dalek Supreme Council as well as assuming command of the Dalek Imperial Army. The Red Drone representative in The Pandorica Opens has never been definitively identified as being the original, however.
