The Investigator (series)

The Investigator is an original series primarily consisting of comics published in TV Century 21, with its first official instalment being printed in issue 74, although its release was led up to by at least one short story.

The series focuses on the titular investigator, Bob Develin, as well as Marc Carter and Inspector Talbot, all of whom work for the U.E.I..

Partially published in TV Century 21, a magazine where all fiction published within shares a universe (including The Daleks), one instalment of The Investigator crossed over with elements of the Doctor Who universe, while other fiction printed in the magazine further crossed the series over with the DWU.

The first crossover was in the prequel short story The Investigator [+]Loading...["The Investigator (TV21 short story)"], released one issue prior to its first official instalment. The story featured reference to Unity City (first mentioned in Duel of the Daleks [+]Loading...["Duel of the Daleks (comic story)"]) as part of Marc Carter's biography. Later, the Dateline 2066 short story Miro Gilfor Sensation! [+]Loading...["Miro Gilfor Sensation! (short story)"] referenced the Water Canon as having been built by the U.E.I..
