The Herbs is a children's stop-motion television series created for the BBC by Graham Clutterbuck's FilmFair company, with Michael Bond as its writer as part of the Watch with Mother timeslot. It later gained a spinoff entitled The Adventures of Parsley.

The series stars various characters personifying different herbs, including Parsley the Lion and Dill the Dog, and living in a garden.

The series briefly crossed over with the Doctor Who universe in the 1998 BBC promotional video Future Generations [+]Loading...["Future Generations (TV story)"], which featured a young boy travelling through the settings of several series, including The Herbs and Doctor Who.

Partway through the promo, after the boy is dropped off just outside by Noddy, he enters the garden from The Herbs, walking past Parsley the Lion and Dill the Dog before exiting into Greendale (from Postman Pat).
