Greendale
Greendale was a village located next to a garden, and contained Bagpuss & Co.. Postman Pat worked in the village, delivering parcels with his cat, Jess.

A boy once walked through the garden and into Greendale during one of Postman Pat's rounds. Pat asked him to drop a parcel into Bagpuss & Co., to which the boy obliged, taking the parcel into the building and noting that "Bagpuss lives here". Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
Greendale is the fictitious main setting of the Postman Pat series. The placement of it next to the garden from The Herbs and its containing of Bagpuss & Co. from Bagpuss in Future Generations [+]Loading...["Future Generations (TV story)"] was in order for the series' appearances to smoothly move from one to the other, however this is atypical for the series themselves.
