(webcast)"], in which an image of her was depicted on a billboard, while her physical debut was in the promotional image It's Christmas Time! [+]Loading...["It's Christmas Time! (illustration)"]. These both served to promote her first full appearance in Joy to the World [+]Loading...["Joy to the World (TV story)"]. Joy was played in Joy to the World by Nicola Coughlan, with images of her in the role reused in The TARDIS is landing just in time for Christmas! and It's Christmas Time!.
The title of Joy to the World is a pun on Joy's forename and the English hymm and Christmas carol "Joy to the World".
