Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- In a simple ceremony at the World Senate, military and civil leaders paid tribute to Colonel Zodiac's courage and ability. President Younger closed the event with the presentation of the Golden Accolade, the World Government's highest award for valour, to Air Marshal Zodiac, the dead hero's father.
- Younger is quoted as saying "Colonel Zodiac was the type of man we all dream of being. We have lost a legend — history has gained a human monument of 2067".
Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This story is another crossover with Fireball XL5. It also marked the first Doctor Who universe appearance of World President T.J. Younger, the successor of Nikita Bandranaik. In later stories, TV Century 21 revealed Younger as the same unnamed President who recurred in multiple episodes of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, arguably making this a retroactive crossover with that series.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Unity City has darkened its buildings and deserted its streets as an act of mourning for World Space Patrol astronaut Colonel Steve Zodiac who died "last Friday". (COMIC: The Shrink Ray, PROSE: Mars Ship Hi-Jacked)
