All the Many Rooms was the second story in the Obverse Quarterly anthology Zenith Lives!. It featured the licensed use of various characters by Paul Magrs, most prominently Rupert Von Thal who first appeared in the story The Boy That Time Forgot [+]Loading...["The Boy That Time Forgot (audio story)"].

- Guests at the party include Rupert Bear, Sheila Manchu, Fenella Wibbsey, Eeyore, Captain Marvel, Virginia Woolf, Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, Dusty Springfield, all four members of ABBA, Sooty, Art Critic Panda, Effie Jacobs, Robin Hood, the Mad Hatter, and the Aristocats.

- On a surface reading of the text, Zenith does not actually appear in this story. The mysterious albino character Rupert Mapp merely pretends to be an adventurer, making the degree to which he is Zenith unclear.

- This story has a similar premise to PROSE: In the Sixties [+]Loading...["In the Sixties (short story)"]. As in that story, a cybernetic man appears.
- Guests arrive from all points in time and space using the Pinking Shears, as introduced in PROSE: Mad Dogs and Englishmen [+]Loading...["Mad Dogs and Englishmen (novel)"].
- Beatrice Mapp, Rupert Von Thal, Beatrice Mapp's house, and Brenda's position as Mapp's servant were all introduced in AUDIO: The Boy That Time Forgot [+]Loading...["The Boy That Time Forgot (audio story)"].
- The "magical egg" in this story is an unnamed appearance by a Skishtari gene egg. The general plot of this story, of the fictional Qab being made by the egg from Beatrice Mapp's mind, resembles the plot of AUDIO: Aladdin Time [+]Loading...["Aladdin Time (audio story)"].
