Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The Seventh Doctor, Ninth Doctor, and Fourteenth Doctor are absent on the poster. Christopher Eccleston did not approve his likeness and Sylvester McCoy wanted a more prominent location on the poster.[2]
- The Seventh Doctor's umbrella is being held by Dr. Leonard McCoy.
- The BBC requested the Eighth Doctor look like his appearance in The Night of the Doctor.[3]
- Early drafts included Romana I, the Brigadier, Mr Sin, a CyberNeomorph, and Davros.[4]
- Captain Picard was originally going to be holding the Tenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver. The BBC requested he hold the Fifteenth Doctor's sonic screwdriver.[1]
- The Twelfth Doctor is next to Captain Benjamin Sisko. Peter Capaldi auditioned for the role of Benjamin Sisko in 1992.
- Some of the Star Trek characters featured in this illustration are played by actors who also appeared in the DWU:
- After playing Kira Nerys, Nana Visitor played Olivia Colasanto in Torchwood: Miracle Day.
- Before playing Cleveland Booker, David Ajala played Peter in The Beast Below [+]Loading...["The Beast Below (TV story)"].
- Before playing La'an Noonien-Singh, Christina Chong played Lorna Bucket in A Good Man Goes to War [+]Loading...["A Good Man Goes to War (TV story)"].
- In this illustration, Khan Noonien Singh is drawn as how Ricardo Montalbán played him in The Original Series and The Wrath of Khan. He was later portrayed by Big Finish actor Benedict Cumberbatch in Star Trek Into Darkness.
- All of the Star Trek characters are shown as their original portrayals, with the exception of Christopher Pike, who is drawn in the likeness of Anson Mount from Discovery and Strange New Worlds.
- The Cyberman is a Cyber-Leader with the design first seen in series 2 (2005-06). Maestro's shoulder obscures the chestplate, making it the Army of Ghosts, The Pandorica Opens, or A Good Man Goes to War version.
- The Dalek has the slat appearance first seen at the end of season 2 (1964-65)'s "The Final Phase" [+]Part of The Space Museum, Loading...{"second":"48","minute":"20","namedep":"The Final Phase (4)","1":"The Space Museum (TV story)"}.
