Before the death of Geoff Noble, the Noble family lived in a home in Chiswick. After Geoff's passing, the family moved to a new house.

Exterior

The Noble's home was a red-brick semi-detached house; its wooden door was enclosed and it had bow windows. It had a small front garden with a flower bush next to a shallow brick wall topped with metal bars. By Christmas Eve 2007, it shared Christmas lights with the neighbouring house, and there was an illuminated wreath hung on the front door and Christmas lights and decorative stars in the windows. History

On 25 June 2007, Donna and Sylvia Noble exited the house to drive to one of Donna's job opportunities. Due to the interference of the Time Beetle, Donna chose a different course of events that lead to the Tenth Doctor's death and London's destruction. This version of reality was undone when the version of Donna from this version of reality travelled back in time and caused a traffic accident that conjested the road which the younger Donna would've otherwise taken. On Christmas Eve 2007, Sylvia and Geoff Noble returned home sometime after helping those injured in the wake of the Robot Santas attack at the wedding reception, (TV: The Runaway Bride ^[+]Loading...{"timestamp":"00:53:33","1":"The Runaway Bride (TV story)"}) while Wilfred Mott fell ill with Spanish flu. After the Empress of the Racnoss's Webstar was destroyed by the British Army later that day, the Tenth Doctor returned Donna home; while Sylvia and Geoff embraced near a Christmas tree inside the home, Donna spoke to the Doctor about how she was scared after the day's events, but invited him in for Christmas dinner. Shortly after Geoff's passing the following year, sometime before the Judoon stole the Royal Hope Hospital and transported it to the Moon, the Nobles moved to a new house. Behind the scenes

• On-screen, no explanation is given for the two houses seen having a number of differences architecturally and geographically. The disparity between the locations is likely due to the original house becoming unavailable or unsuitable to the heightened role the house played in the fourth series of Doctor Who.
  • It is only Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia ^[+]Loading...{"page":"250","1":"Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia (reference book)"} which clarifies that, shortly after Geoff Noble's death, the Noble family moved house. However, Turn Left ^[+]Loading...["Turn Left (TV story)"] does create a small production error by using the exterior of the second house during the time period in which the Nobles would've been living in the first.
