Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

It was rumoured that Scrooge was not his true name, but the only alternative which had been found was Aristide Twain, which was deemed "preposterous". It was also rumoured, by the "circle of the innermost Archons", that Scrooge was in fact a metafictional agent of the Adversary; not here yesterday and, if they were lucky, not to be here tomorrow. A. Twain wrote The Cactus and the Corpse, which was published in 2023 by Arcbeatle Press in Horrors of Arcbeatle. Olivia Kagg Waldermein cited it several times in her essay Love & War: A Meta-Historical Investigation of the Dawn of the Cosmic Revolution. (PROSE: Love & War [+]Loading...["Love & War (short story)"]) Maritsa would find this story in the Plume Coteries' Library while looking for something to read, but, as it contained material about her, she knew that it wasn't a good idea to read it. (PROSE: The Cactus and the Corpse [+]Loading...["The Cactus and the Corpse (short story)"]) Waldermein, in the selfsame essay, also referred any of her readers wishing to learn more of the Space Lords of Fractallax to Twain's works postdating 2024. A further one of Twain's works cited by Waldermein was The God Who Came For Christmas, again published by Arcbeatle Press in 2023, but this time in The Book of the Snowstorm. Waldermein cited it with regards to an old Brittonic war god. (PROSE: Love & War [+]Loading...["Love & War (short story)"]) Twain was the editor of The Book of the Snowstorm.
