Sonny Caldinez

Sonny Caldinez (1 July 1932[1]-12 April 2022[2]) had several roles on Doctor Who, notably as an Ice Warrior.
He shared his memories of his Doctor Who career on the audio commentary for the DVD release of The Ice Warriors, as well as the documentary I Was a Doctor Who Monster! and Sssowing the Ssseedsss: Musings on being an Ice Warrior. Extracts from the latter interview, including previously-unused recordings in regards to The Evil of the Daleks, were heard on the story's audio commentary for its DVD and Blu-ray release.

He was also known for his appearances in the films Raiders of the Lost Ark (as Ronald Lacey's Mongolian henchman), The Fifth Element and The Man with the Golden Gun (as Christopher Lee's maintenance/security chief).
