The True Voyages of Henry Avery (feature)

The True Voyages of Henry Avery was a feature in The Brilliant Book 2012 detailing the voyages of Captain Henry Avery prior to his disappearance.

A map detailing Avery's voyages from 1694-1696 is alongside an entry from Warden Joseph Longfoot's journal.

Avery left England aboard the Privateer ship Charles II, captained by Charles Gibson.
In the region around Corunna, Northern Spain the privateer plunders French stronghold.
In Corunna, Avery leads a mutiny against the captain.
Avery renames his ship The Fancy.
Avery commits his first act of piracy in the Cape Verde Islands, West Africa.
On the Island of Principe, the Guinea Coast, the Fancy attacks two Danish Privateers and holds the local chieftain to ransom.
Avery modifies his ship in the Comoro Islands, north of Madagascar
At the Straights of Bab el-Mandeb, on the coast of Yemen, Avery is elected admiral of a fleet of pirates.
A the Straights of Surat, West coast of India, Avery's fleet attack an Indian colony, sacking the Ganj-i-Sawai before vanishing with all hands.
Joseph Longfoot's journal remarks that he was put ashore by Avery to guard a portion of the treasure.
Longfoot refers to Captain May of the Pearl, and his right hand men Pike and Cherub.
