The Last Beacon was the twentieth story in the Torchwood - Monthly Range by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Gareth David-Lloyd and featured Burn Gorman as Owen Harper and David-Lloyd as Ianto Jones.

Gareth David-Lloyd claimed that the name of the badger-like alien species featured in the story, Taliskotian, was inspired by the bottle of Talisker he was drinking.^[1]
Recording for the story took place on 15 November 2017 at The Soundhouse and Bang Post Production.
