Escape the Pting was a group digital escape room game in Quantum Builds's Doctor Who Fortnite, released on 17 March 2022.[1]
Synopsis[[edit] | [edit source]]
The self-destruct sequence has been initiated. Find all 10 mechanical parts and escape!
Gameplay[[edit] | [edit source]]
A private party of players must find 10 mechanical parts in a QuadZone Rescue Craft to repair the escape pod before the ship explodes. As the players explore the pieces, the Pting may sabotage certain systems, requiring players to go to a section of the ship to fix them.
The mechanical parts are as follows:
- Control room: Match a set of symbols appearing on screens.
- Vents: Explore the vents and find a larger room inside them.
- Disposal room: Leave the ship and find the part floating in a heap of junk in space.
- Tech room: Find the part on a keyboard.
- Training simulator: Complete a physical training simulator involving jumping through small spaces while switching platforms in and out of physicality.
- Space Walk: Grapple through materials to grab it inside an asteroid.
- Communication room: Find a code in dossiers throughout the ship, and transmit it here to the Doctor's TARDIS.
- Gravity core: Jump on platforms to the top of the room.
- Cafeteria Sliders: Unknown.
- Nanites: Can be found throughout the ship and assembled into a mechanical part.
