Battle on Gallifrey was a Fortnite combat map released as part of Quantum Builds's Doctor Who Fortnite, released on 17 March 2022.[1]

Fight for either the Time Lords or the Daleks in an all-out battle.
The Chaosverse has caused many realities to converge on Gallifrey.
Gameplay[[edit] | [edit source]]
Players are divided into either the Time Lord or Dalek team, and must protect their spawn point from being taken by the other team. Time Lords start in the citadel War Room and Daleks start at a Dalek saucer, and fight in standard Fortnite gunplay in an open Gallifrey battlefield between.

- Initial ideas for this mode were more ambitious than the final product, attempting to depict a time war by having the players being teleported through multiple locations from Gallifrey, including a TARDIS. (DWM 577)
- A large American barn appears on the map, possibly as a reference to the Doctor's barn.

- The opening area has the Doctor's TARDIS in it, showing the players using the TARDIS after the events of GAME: TARDIS Landing Site [+]Loading...["TARDIS Landing Site (video game)"].
- Reality Virus transmitters, of the same design seen in GAME: The Edge of Reality [+]Loading...["The Edge of Reality (video game)"], appear throughout the island.
- The term "Chaosverse" was previously used in promotional material for GAME: The Edge of Reality [+]Loading...["The Edge of Reality (video game)"] to refer to the splintered realities created in the events of that game.
- The Dalek City, first seen in TV: The Daleks [+]Loading...["The Daleks (TV story)"], and here depicted in the design first seen in GAME: The Magician's Apprentice [+]Loading...["The Magician's Apprentice"], is among the structures brought to Gallifrey by the Virus.
