Adrian J Andrews (25 March 1960-4 March 2019) was an actor, television presenter, tour guide and paranormal researcher. On 24 March 2005,[1] he wrote one of the 138 successful submissions that made up Have You Seen This Man?, a story on the BBC's Who is Doctor Who? tie-in website, which let fans submit their fictional "sightings" of the Doctor.

Unlike many contributors, who either used unidentifiable usernames or wrote in-character as established characters from the show, Andrews used his real full name. In his narrative entry, "Adrian J Andrews" reports an encounter with the Ninth Doctor, who arrived at his house posing as a botanist and eliminated some strange weeds from his back garden, leaving Andrews a balm that would heal his dog of the strange growths the weeds had caused.

The real Andrews lived in Brighton for nearly thirty years, and ran the popular Kreepy Kemptown Ghost Walks. He died in March 2019.[2]
