Aladdin
Aladdin, or Ala-eddin, (TV: Marco Polo [+]Loading...["Marco Polo (TV story)"]) was the title character in a popular fairy tale which was often adapted into pantomime. The story featured a lamp and a magic cave.

- On 24 December 1974, Terry Walsh appeared as the Third Doctor in a BBC pantomime production of Aladdin from the Crackerjack team, in which the Doctor used the TARDIS to help Aladdin escape from a cave.
- "A Whole New World" is a song featured in Disney's 1992 animated adaptation of the story.
- Dan Castellaneta voiced the film's version of the Genie in various pieces of media (the role first being played in the original movie by Robin Williams).
- The film received a live-action remake in 2019 in which Nina Wadia had a cameo appearance.
