Alastair Reynolds (born 13 March 1966[1][2] in Barry, South Wales[2]) wrote the Doctor Who novel Harvest of Time.

He also wrote the introduction to the 2012 BBC Books edition of The Three Doctors, and contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who.

Reynolds is a science fiction writer, known for his original series, including the Revelation Space series and the Poseidon's Children trilogy.
