Alternate timeline (War of the Sontarans)
An alternate timeline was created by the Sontarans during their Flux assault, wherein they invaded Earth and settled in Liverpool on 31 October 2021 during the second before the Lupari fleet's planetary shield against the Flux took effect. Dispatching a fleet of Sontaran timeships, they travelled back in time to create and fight an alternate Crimean War against the British Army at Sebastopol, 1855. Led by Commander Skaak, (TV: War of the Sontarans) who wanted to reclaim Earth in honour of Commander Linx, (TV: The Time Warrior) he chose the Crimean War for its opportunity for bloodshed and because he wanted to ride a horse.
According to the British map, Russia and China were replaced by Sontar in this timeline. While looking at the map, the Thirteenth Doctor observed that Britain, Jamaica and Crimea were still in the correct places.
Thanks to the combined efforts of the Doctor, Mary Seacole and General Logan, the Sontarans were driven from Crimea, although at the cost of their lives due to explosives planted by Logan, for which the Doctor reprimanded him severely. The timeline was aborted completely when Dan Lewis and Karvanista piloted a Sontaran timeship into a temporal collision with the rest of its Liverpool fleet, thus erasing the Sontarans' Flux assault from history.
